Be a superhero - April activity

For our service we will be making baby blankets for the children's hospital. We will have things for you to do at any skill level, so if you want to participate but don't sew, we still welcome your help. It will be basic sewing, cutting, and clipping edges. We are looking for a few things:

  • 2-3 Sewing Machines (along with some basic colors of thread)
  • Cutting scissors
  • New fabric cut to crib size (approx 35 inches x 25 inches) - flannel, fleece, or cotton as we can make a few different styles of blankets.

We would like to make and complete 10 blankets that night. If you have any of these items, please contact me by Wednesday night at the latest as I will go out and purchase fabric if needed for the activity Thursday night. You can leave a comment on this blog, or e-mail me at chelsea.sheer@gmail.com, or feel free to call me at home.
